What is Ministerial Canidate Workshop (MCW)?
This weekend is uniquely designed to provide licensed ministers seeking ordination a deeper understanding of their calling. The goal of the workshop is to help candidates:
• Identify personal strengths and gifting
• Receive focused guidance and direction
• Develop deeper self-awareness
• Review the Nazarene ordination process
• Cultivate supportive relationships with district leaders
At the heart of the workshop is the hope that each participant will see a pathway to life-long flourishing in ministry. Each attendee will receive a private consultation with a professional assessment specialist to help discover and understand their unique ministry profile. Additionally, seminars will be held during the MCW with the goal of arming attendees with tools for and insights into ministry. Each part of this workshop has been designed to build upon the next, creating a journey of self-awareness.
What is the cost to attend?
$200/single • $320/couple • $420/couple-both candidates
*A $100 non- refundable deposit is due at the time of registration, the balance is due prior to the MCW. The registration fee for this event includes: accommodations on campus at PLNU on Friday and Saturday night, 5 meals (Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast), assessment inventory and scoring fees, and two one-hour private consultations.
